WHAT IS IT LIKE TO SPEND A DAY AS A PUPIL AT NGUYEN SIEU PRIMARY SCHOOL?

Continuing their journey of discovering the learning environment at Nguyen Sieu Primary School, the second day of the “An Excellent Journey Begins” Club offered the children a range of engaging learning and interactive activities. From English lessons with international teachers to outdoor activities, the children had the opportunity to experience the daily rhythm of school life first-hand and gradually familiarise themselves with the primary school environment.

During their English lessons, the children took part in interactive activities with international teachers, listening to instructions, exchanging ideas and expressing their thoughts. The classroom came alive with questions, answers and the children’s enthusiastic participation. These lessons also gave them the opportunity to experience an English-speaking environment naturally, while building their confidence in communication and interaction.

Beyond the classroom, outdoor activities provided further opportunities for the children to explore and connect with one another. Through group activities, teamwork and interaction with their peers, they practised collaboration, sharing ideas and expressing their individuality. With the support and guidance of their teachers, the children gradually became more confident and proactive in embracing new experiences.
A day at Nguyen Sieu Primary School is therefore made up of a variety of interconnected experiences: learning, exploration, interaction and connection. Each activity gives the children an opportunity to observe and discover the world around them, take on new challenges and become familiar with the learning and daily routines of primary school.

The “An Excellent Journey Begins” Club offers young children the chance to gain first-hand experience of school life, while also enabling the School to observe and better understand each child’s abilities and approach to participating in activities. These first experiences help prepare the children to begin their journey into Year 1 with confidence in the 2027–2028 academic year.
