LIBRARY ACTIVITY CELEBRATING NATIONAL DAY ON SEPTEMBER 2ND: "5 TEACHINGS OF UNCLE HO – CHILDHOOD LUGGAGE"

News Monday, 07/09/2026

During the historic days of August, as the entire country looks toward National Day on September 2nd, stories about Uncle Ho, the homeland, the country, and fine values become even closer to childhood. At Nguyen Sieu Primary School Library, students were inspired by these values through a themed reading activity titled "5 Teachings of Uncle Ho – Childhood Luggage," organized during library sessions.

Students explored the 5-book series "Great Lessons from 5 Teachings of Uncle Ho," corresponding to the 5 teachings: Love the Fatherland, love countrymen; Study well, work well; Good unity, good discipline; Preserve hygiene well; Modest, honest, courageous.

Each book opens up a story, a character, and a situation that are very familiar to children's daily lives. Through the pages, the seemingly familiar teachings are retold through vivid stories, making them easy for students to read, understand, and, more importantly, reflect upon themselves.

Students read not only to learn what Uncle Ho taught, but also to reflect: Have I achieved this yet? What can I start doing?

"5 Teachings of Uncle Ho – Childhood Luggage" not only fosters a love for reading, but also contributes to nurturing fine qualities, connecting Uncle Ho's teachings with stories in books and actions in daily life, so that simple yet profound values always accompany students on their journey of growing up.

Looking toward National Day on September 2nd – let's read, remember, and practice 5 Teachings of Uncle Ho together!
